A new single was released earlier this week by Italian progressive-house artist, Congorock. This dude has been gaining some serious attention since his first EP, Runark, was released way back in 2009. The new track, titled “Sirius” was exclusively released by Ultra Records through Beatport just days ago. This bump-able single makes me wish the album (which has been in the works for almost half a year now) was released already. Respect your house master, Congorock, below.

ASAP Rocky & SPACEGHOST PURRP Show
These two are hip hop’s new Three Six Mafia, or UGK, the way they rap about lean and chop and screw their beats on the regular. Both ASAP Rocky and SPACEGHOST PURRP are unique artists with an old school type flow. SPACEGHOSTPURRP is a pretty new artist from Miami, Florida and is influenced heavily by the 90′s, chopped n screwed beats, and bud/ lean (better known as sizzurp). Last night on September 8th these two performed in Manhattan, NYC at Santo’s Party House and killed it, tickets were only $14 at the door so this show had a pretty decent crowd, videos will be posted soon. These two are really starting to gain a lot of attention and will blow up very soon enough. Trust.
Check out some performances from the Drizzy- Drake attended show in NYC:

Lil Wayne Goes Crazy

As much as we all love his music, Lil Wayne has made a questionable decision. I would pay large amounts of money to personally ask Lil Wayne what he was thinking when he decided to perform at the VMA’s in jeggings. Weezy’s new $44 pair of leopard jeggings have drawn so much attention, you can actually follow them on twitter! Hopefully the attention on his pants won’t affect album sales for Tha Carter IV, which was released shortly after his performance. Be sure to check out Waynes Jeggings on twitter if you’re looking for a good laugh. #unreal
Good Mood Music: Phil Ade
Phil Ade is slowly starting to gain a fan base thanks to his dope visuals for the older track below, “The Letter”. Although some may think this song is not Good Mood Music, i personally think its a ill and inspirational track. Sampling dope classic artists like Nas and AZ, as well as sampling a dope piano part, and this dudes flow is untouchable, almost Nas or J.Cole like the way he tells stories over instrumentals. Phil Ade is an incredibly underrated artist out of Virgina. He now lives in DC and has a pretty legit fanbase there. He, like Jay-Z and Lupe Fiasco, uses a live band to back him up at his shows- which is so fuckin’ cool. Anyways if you like the track/ music video get his older mixtape The Letterman here cop his most recent mixtape here

WTF? Jack White Producing ICP Track
Soon Jeff the Brotherhood and Insane Clown Posse will release a song they made their own. An old Mozart song from 1782 called “Leck Mich Im Arsch“, which means “lick me in the arse” if you did not pick up on that. Jeff the Brotherhood is a two piece rock duo from Nashville. The Insane Clown Posse is a two piece rap group from Detroit, so how did this project even come about? Yes, I understand Jack White appreciates many genres of music and has collaborated with many different musicians during his career but the Insane Clown Posse? Really? Maybe its because they are all Detroit natives, or maybe deep down Jack White is Juggalo at heart. Either way I am so confused about this collaboration. Peep the trailer for the collaboration which features ICP, Jack White and Jeff the Brotherhood.
The 7-inch single and iTunes download of “Leck Mich Im Arsch” will be available on 9/13/11. Also, 100 Tri-Color Vinyl copies of the single will be sold at the Third Man Rolling Record Store starting September 17 at the MI Fest in Michigan (where The Raconteurs, Jack White’s band, will be playing) And lastly only 50 tri-color vinyls will be randomly sent to random mail orders dispatched by Third Man Records. I love Jack White as a musician and a producer, but i don’t know about this track. Listen to the single below, what do you think?

New Album: I’m With You RHCP
Yesterday, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, one of the most famous bands of my generation, released their tenth album entitled I’m With You. The new album was mastered for iTunes, meaning it will sound better then most of the music you will find on their music sharing program. It was, “Mastered specifically for iTunes to optimize sound quality”. The Chili Peppers are the first band to ever master an album specifically to iTunes thanks to producer Rick Ruben. After hearing John Frusciante had left the group due to complications, I was definitely bummed out and skeptical to even listen at first. After seeing the music video, “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie,” and listening to the album, I was not disappointed at all. This album, like their last album, Stadium Arcadium, has progressed their sound into its own genre once again. Overall this album is a great listen, just different.
Download or buy the album off iTunes now.
AraabMuzik: New Music Video

AraabMuzik is a dope up-and-coming hip hop producer hailing from Providence, Rhode Island. He is an absolute MPC god. His beginning work can be found on Diplomats mixtapes. Now his official debut album, Electronic Dream is available to own. Although the album isn’t recent news, just yesterday a new music video was released for his chill song, “Streetz Tonight”. I In the music video, you will find the idea was to keep it simple. AraabMuzik is filmed sitting at a table performing the track on his MPC, while the cameras show different views of him. Check it.

New Song: Mac Miller- Cold Feet
This Clams Casino produced track came out yesterday. “Cold Feet” is a catchy song with a, like usual, dope yet trippy instrumental produced by the Jersey native. The song won’t be on Mac’s debut album Blue Slide Park, he released it because he just reached another 100k followers on Twitter- putting him at over 800k. Crazy. Bump or download the track here, you won’t regret it.

New Song: Curren$y “Smoke Somethin” (feat. Lil Wayne)
Recently Lil Wayne and Curren$y ran into each other in Chicago, caught up for a while, and then decided to collab again on a track. If you didn’t already know, Curren$y used to be on Wayne’s Young Money Label, but decided to leave due to complications. Although he did not make it in time for the Verde Terrace mixtape drop, Weezy sent the Hot Spitta his verse for the “Elevators (Me & You)” remix, “Smoke Sumthin‘”. This collaboration was mad random which made the song better. I thought they did not like each other or respect each other after he left the label - I guess not. They should get together on more tracks if you ask me! Peep the track below:
