Well renowned Icelandic band Sigur Rós recently asked a dozen filmmakers to each individually choose a song off of their latest album, Valtari, and then shoot a music video that reflected the music and how it made them feel. Each director received an equal budget of $10,000 and absolutly no direction from the band. Director Al Har’el created an elaborate video consisting of Psychedelic light-up Lollipops, dead butterfly’s and naked performances from Shia LaBeouf and actress Deena Thompsen as a couple caught up in a destructive relationship, possibly drug addicted, love sicken and sort of “star crossed lovers”. This seven-minute music video relates to more of a dream type sequence, than an actual continuous story and it can get pretty weird sometimes, but overall it is very intresting. The ambient spacey instrumentation of this particular track correlates well with the dream like feel of the video. Mad relaxing laid back feel to this song, like most of there music. Awesome video, so check out Sigur Rós music video for “Fjögur Píanó“below. Good looks @therealjamesk for help with the article.
