Taller Than Our Soul- Vultures

Taller Than Our Soul is four of my good buddies who go to school with me, and happen to make really awesome music on the side. Their Alternative/Progressive rock sound is honestly epic and is influenced from a vast amount of artists from Tame Impala and Good Old War to Circa Survive and Fall of Troy which i think helps create a unique, different sound that really sticks out. The musical talent and chemistry these four dudes have together is seriously chilling- after seeing them live multiple times, i personally know how much they rock live and with crystal clear recording like they had done for their debut album, Vultures, it was bound to sound great. At times they’ll have bridges that sound similar to Minus The Bear due to its intricate guitar playing, thumping bass, and incredible drums that are irresistibly catchy, while during other parts of songs the instrumentation is more like something by Alexisonfire. Seriously a really good album, an overall dope mixture of rock genres done on Vultures by Taller Than Our Soul, so go check it out now on their bandcamp page. Help support them and go buy a copy!

Orlando-based band Taller Than Our Soul explodes onto the scene with entrancing vocals, lively guitars, and drums that bring it all together. For lack of a better label, Taller Than Our Soul brings an alternative feel peppered by influences that range from Folk to Metal. When four talented and bright musicians get together for fun, Taller Than Our Soul is the musical aftermath

If your in Orlando during July go to Taller Than Our Souls CD release party at The Haven Lounge on Friday, July 13th. It starts at 5:00 p.m, and is only 7 bucks if you’re under 21, 5 bucks if your 21+
