“FineShrine” is the latest track from the Canadian duo, Purity Ring. The trippy sampling done along with fast paced hi hats and snare rolls are reminiscent to Star Slinger but more indie felt. It was cool to see beat-smith Corin Roddick, and vocalist Megan James give their listeners some time to marinate and really listen closely to the two other singles “Obedear” and “Belispeak” off the upcoming album. I am exceptionally thrilled to hear what the album has in store, with James’ unique vocals filled with harmonious synths, metallophones and drums – the band’s sound is very orignal and will leave you wanting more. I can confidently say that Purity Ring’s debut album, Shrines, will be one of the top albums of the year. Listen to Purity Ring’s “FineShrine” below now, and be on the look out for Shrines to drop July 24th. Good looks @Therealjamesk for help with the post.
