Indie dance group out of Brooklyn, Matt and Kim, recently dropped their video for “Let’s Go”. I have always been a huge fan of their music, from hits like, “Daylight” and “Cameras”; “Let’s go”, is not likely to disappoint with its eccentric, yet happy sounds. The video is quite unusual, featuring basketball player Pat the Roc showing off his dribbling/ball handling abilities in sync with the catchy, harmonious beat. I am indifferent about the video but don’t get me wrong, the song is definitely a great summer tune. As Matt serenades over the upbeat/dance-y chorus, along with fluctuating drum beat from Kim, “Let’s Go” makes it hard for you to resist your inner urge to nod your head, let alone dance. This is their first single off the upcoming album, Lighting, which is set to be released this fall. Peep the new track and visuals by synth/piano indie pop stars Matt and Kim below.
