Prior to embarking on his 30-date European tour with Orlando based 16 year old producer XXYYXX, Giraffage has another fire track in-store for us. If you are not familiar with Giraffage, he produces a distinctive assortment of atmospheric dream-pop mixed with elaborate percussion lines and has collabed with XXYYXX and others in the past making some ill shit. Here is his most recently released track “Money”. Although it starts off recognizable to his “normal” sound on a song with an R&B/ dream-pop feel, it is unquestionably one of his harder hitting tracks. About 1:30 in it drops to a bass orientated trap beat with dope percussive elements, chirping birds, and other tight ishh. Then a continual repeated vocal chop of “Money” comes into play. “Money” bangs strikingly and includes a juddering buildup to a viscous bass drop. Although most of the time Giraffage’s stuff is more ambient and relaxed, i am really digging this Diplo like trap felt track. Check out Giraffage’s latest track “Money” off his forthcoming EP, and if you’re in Europe September – October be on the look out for XXYYXX and Giraffage on tour all around. Goodlooks Jimbo for help with this one.
