After Rick Ross heard news of BET’s decision to ban his latest “controversial” music video “Hold Me Back” once seeing a glimpse of the trailer, he decided to still drop the visuals online instead. In his latest video installment the black and white tone give it a more bad ass mood, and feature a typical shirtless Ross visiting the New Orleans’ Calliope Projects. We see his MMG pals and flocks of locals mobbing in the streets accompanying the bawse himself. I personally do not see what all the controversy is about; the lyrics seem to be more offensive if anything. Seriously, half naked chicks have been in rap videos for the past twenty years, why freak out about it now? Don’t really understand. Give “Hold Me Back” a glance below and make your own assumption on whether BET’s choice is legit or not.
