WAVVES present us with a new track for the newest Adult Swim singles program. This track genuinely has that grungy, surf/garage feel to it; similar to Nirvana, Weezer, Dinosaur Jr. or Built To Spill in my opinion. “Hippies is Punks” is definitely something I would consider downloading if you like that rad old-school 90’s garage band vibe. i’ve grown really fond of Wavves over the past couple of months, they have a real catchy sound going for them and i could see them blowing up very soon if they continue to put out quality music like they have been.
