King Krule‘s raspy british vocals, blues-felt funky guitar licks, and heavily reverberated production never fails to combine perfectly and morph into a great track. With no exceptions, the 17 year old Archy Marshall releases a new song entitled “Rock Bottom” that is more upbeat compared to the usual King Krule song. He has come up with some very captivating pieces over the past couple years that contain “thuggish vocals” aside dope guitar chords that are always riveting; and he has even been compared to Penguin Cafe Orchestra by Pitchfork. The kid is going placing and makes unique blues-felt tunes that are a must listen. You will see this track on the “Rock Bottom”/”Octopus” single, which is due out September 24th. Check out the track below, and get familiar with King Krule if you’re not already.
