The Full Sail alumni and CT native WREX MASON created this epic, trap infested remix of Danny Brown’s “Blunt After Blunt“. This track seriously bangs, with its fast paced hi-hats to lively up the track along with the “spacey” break towards the end of the song he really remixed this track into something outstanding. When talking to him about it earlier today i assumed he made the beat previously, found the song’s acapella and then mixed the two together but; in reality he did it in his own unique, task-worthy way. He first found the acapella of “Blunt After Blunt” then he built the beat up around the acapella tweaking it until it sounded perfect, keeping the main piano part and trying to stay in the same key he then morphed the instrumental into his own unique trill / trap felt remix. Peep the original music video for “Blunt After Blunt” below, which was directed by A$AP Rocky along with the WRX MSN remix.
