Jhené Aiko has risen to stardom and recently shared her journey with Rap-Up TV’s youtube station in a fairly in depth interview. In a nutshell; her story is that she was signed to Sony/Epic Records at the astonishingly young age of twelve years old. Eventually, after touring with B2K, Aiko got in touch with the producer No I.D. who eventually guided her to her new-found solo career at Def Jam.
The popular singer has a new album tentatively titled Souled Out which should be released at some time in 2013. She is also looking to get Big Sean on the album since she recently put work into his upcoming mixtape titled Detroit. Top Dawg Entertainment artists are definitely going to have some features on the album as well i would assume, since they have worked together previously. (Any Black Hippy member).
