Whenever an instrumental is created by beat-making genius Harry Fraud, Y’all ready know it’s bound to knock- and this smooth, horn-based cut is no exception. Although i am not too familiar with DJ Scream, everyone else on the track is a boss in their own individual way. Rick Ross starts off his verse by repeating the lines “Pimp C in my cassette deck, i’m just way too trill” and over the soulful it sounds so damn clean. Up next Bun B, who was in UGK with Pimp C so to hear his voice on this song not only makes sense but sounds absolutely perfect. Lastly, Slim Thug, who i haven’t heard new music from in hella long but he surprisingly killed his verse- he’s def still got it. DJ Scream’s album Long Live The Hustle will be in stores November 20th, and if any of the other songs sound even remotely close to this it should be a pretty solid record.
