Epic… Earlier this week DOOM was in London and decided to show up at a Robert Glasper Experiment show, they ended up proceeding to jam some tracks off the Madvillain record (“Figaro” and “Rhinestone Cowboy“) and it sounded downright amazing. Glasper is well known yet underground in the music industry, with side-work on classics like Kanye’s Late Registration, Q-Tip’s The Renaissance, and other projects with J Dilla, Mos Def, more this dude is well respected in the game. Big ups on this collaboration, it sounds dope as hell and takes balls (on the bands part) to try and play one of Madlib’s unique instrumentals as a live band. I wonder if having BBNG as the backing band would have sounded any better…Hmm. Anyways, listen up below if your a DOOM fan;
