Electrohouse

Legendary DJ, A-Trak teams up with L.A native Dillon Francis, on this upbeat collaboration entitled “Money Makin”. The song describes what EDM DJ’s are doing in the industry right now. “Money Makin’ is such a happy song. It makes me want to playfully chase around beautiful women in their underwear around a pool or on a beach or yacht or something. Oh yeah, while money is falling from the sky. The song features a catchy synth line with a little dubsteppy sounds but while maintaining a four on the floor beat. It’s very synth poppy. Almost cheesy but I think that’s what makes it sound so happy. The vocal loops are simple enough. “Money making! Money Breakin’! Money Money Making Money Taking!”. Of Course, the video has awesome party scenes. Peep it below.

“Let’s go play in the water. You can borrow my rolling stone’s t-shirt.” This song is kind of cheesy but mainly awesome. I fucking love Dada Life and this song is exactly what I expected from these crazy Swedes. The auto-tuned vocals are so fucking catchy and they just lead into a totally Dada drop. The drop has that really electro-y, gritty, Dada tone with crazy synths pitch bending all over the place. I could see thousands of young party goers going ballistic for this song when they drop it next week at the sold out COACHELLA. They’ve had this song in their DJ set for a minute but it finally gets released on April 18th on their label SO MUCH DADA. Also be sure to check out the Cazzette remix as well. It bumps all sorts of electro goodness. #KICKOUTTHEEPICMOTHERFUCKER

Damn, Madeon  does it again. What is it about french people that makes them so good at producing house music? I mean you got Daft Punk, Justice, and now you got 17 year old Madeon. Madeon first made his debut with the pop culture mash up he did that went viral all over the internet. Now he brings you a completely original house track that just grooves with progressive dance synths and spectacular    glitchy parts that are still somehow syncopated. There’s definitely a pop-esque to Madeon’s work and “Icarus” proves it. “Icarus” dropped on beatport today.

Chicago based electronic music producer and DJ, Jordan Atkins-Loria, better known as Lucky Date  drops  a mean preview to his original mix being officially released tomorrow on Big Fish Recordings . The song has a nasty resonated bass line and some sick vocoded lyrics. Be on the look out for Lucky Date who’s currently touring with Excision and Liquid Stranger. I for one am fucking stoked to see Lucky Date performing at the House of Blues here in Orlando. Anyway, check back here tomorrow for the full version of “I Want You“. PS, a skood exclusive on Lucky Date coming soon!
